Flour and cereals should preferably be stored in mobile stainless steel containers. Lids must be tight-fitting. Large stocks of flour kept in original sacks must be stored clear of the ground and free of damp. Condensation my result in mould growth on wet flour and must be prevented. Regular cleaning of containers used for flour storage must not be overlooked. Frequent inspections and stock rotation should be carried out to check for rodents or insects.
