Definition: CPR is a method of combining chest compression’s with effective rescue breaths in order to artificially circulate blood and to put air into the lungs

CARDIO = Heart   PULMONARY = lungs   RESUSCITATION = revive

Once the 5 initial rescue breaths have been administered CPR must commence
